Excellent service from the second we walked in til we left, attentive without being OTT, absolutely delicious food (I ordered sirloin, which was perfectly medium rare the whole way through, and my friend had wonderfully tender lamb rump), substantial wine list, perfectly sized and beautiful...desserts, very happy customers. Perfect place for a special occasion.More

From the onset the meal experience was wonderful. Polite , attentive , knowledgeable staff coupled with an eclectic mix of tasty ingredients leaves the diner very satisfied. Beautiful modern decor, good lighting. Clean functional toilets. Slightly noisy kitchen. Good parking , a hidden gem.

This was our first lunch at Browns after having a few excellent evening meals. As expected the staff were friendly and professional, the menu had plenty of choice, and the food was simply superb. The interior of the restaurant has had an overhaul and looks...fantastic. Best food in Derry by a very long way!More

3rd visit in 3 years, and the first since the refurbishment. The new look is great. The food was truly outstanding. Langoustine with curry veloute was a knock out. All delivered by an engaging young team. We thoroughly enjoyed this gem of a restaurant. Great...experience.More

We visited Browns in August for a special birthday meal. We really enjoyed the experience, though the restaurant staff let the cat out of the bag when they contacted the birthday girl to confirm the table (now including an extra couple of surprise guests), when...they had been asked kindly not to do so!. However, it didnt take anything away from what was a super evening of good service, tasty food and excellent wine.More

We’re big fans of Browns Bonds Hill, dining here regularly. It never disappoints. Great value for quality dining, particularly for lunch. Friendly service too. Highly recommended. We would recommend taking the train travelling through Coleraine, Castlerock and this beautiful part of the North Coast.

This was the first time we have been back at Browns Bonds Hill since it was refurbished during Lockdown. It was worth waiting for. The dining room feels much more open, helped by the large windows at the front. The decor and atmosphere was lovely....The service was excellent, as it has always been. The starters were truly delectable, the mains delicious and desert wonderful. I hade a chicken thigh roulade for starter that was incredibly tasty and tender. My wife’s langoustine was delicious. My hake main was wonderful and the Irish cheese board with a formed quince jelly and chutney was beautiful. Our Chablis was perfection. It was so good to be back and be reminded of the fantastic standards this restaurant maintains. We won’t leave it as long next timeMore

Once again Ian Jarvis and his front of house team were superb. The staff are very attentive, polite, and all have great product knowledge. Each course was perfectly cooked and presented. We had one vegetarian who was very impressed with the food presented to her....The party have travelled from all parts and everyone will be back with the group or will bring friends or family. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. I look forward to getting back again in the near future.More

Hi it is a small space so nowhere to run about etc but then again it is a restaurant not a play park!! As for facilities, high chairs are available & the sofa style seating can accommodate little ones too. The champagne lounge is a comfortable, intimate space, handy for taking time out with toddlers too! Contrary to what other reviewers have said, there is a childrens menu available. Pasta, chicken, steak, roasts have been the sort of food on offer. Having taken both my children there on a regular basis, theyve always been more than happy with the food. Its a perfect venue for families & we often go with grandparents as well as children. Hope this helps!
